Would I blindly recommend it? Not that I'm lucky that I didn't experience a second of motion sickness, but I can imagine that if you're sensitive to that, this isn't for you.Reviewed by Mary Billington playing a PS5 with PSVR2 on Febru⛰️ I think it's pretty clear that I've gone from curious to convinced in a relatively short period of time. Gt 7 is fantastic and then you have indie games like Pistol Whip that make you feel like you're in a John Wick movie while doing a whole workout that leaves you sweating afterwards. Horizon as the biggest example in the trailers, it seemed like a glorified tech demo that was graphically in between PS4 and PS5, but after playing it myself I left with a much more positive impression. I've found that while VR game announcements have always been a little off to me because trailers couldn't convey the right experience, that same game can still blow me away in VR. I currently own 8 PSVR 2 games across multiple genres and haven't regretted it for a second. With PSVR 2, the price tag was a bit of a shock at first, but I finally decided to give in. I was always interested in VR, but found the resolution on the old set far too low and the games not convincing enough. While the games I've played so far are great fun, it's of course a gamble on support in the future. Set up, I expected to have to prepare a lot but you go through a few steps and within 5-10 minutes you can enter your first game. Horizon is really beautiful and Gran Turismo in VR really gives a very special experience. The games I didn't expect to have so much fun with. Extremely good quality, VR is of course still emerging, but you clearly notice that it is going at a high pace.
